Working principle Rubber Belt Vacuum Filter Press:

 

Horizontal rubber vacuum belt filter uses filtration as the medium. It uses the gravity and vacuum suction to separate liquid from solid materials. This filter takes the ring shaped rubber belt as the vacuum vessel. Ring shaped belt is motored by electric motor and the filtration is wrapped on the belt. The vacuum vessel and the ring shaped friction belt form the suction area. Liquid pass through furrow on filtration and go into vacuum vessel through pores. Solid materials are stopped and from filtration cakes. The liquid in the vessel will be discharged after separated from steam. Then, the cakes pass through the washing zone and drying zone. Then, the new cycle started again.

 


Step 1: Feed slurry is distributed continuously on the filter cloth.

 

Step 2: Vacuum sucks the liquid into the vacuum box through the filter cloth, but the solid remains on the filter cloth.

 

Step 3: The vacuum pulls air through the filter cake and continues to remove moisture from the filter cake as filter cloth moves forward

 

Step 4:The filter cake is washed by the washing device to get rid of impurities. Additional drying of the filter cakes follows the washing.

 

Step 5: In the end,the filter cake is discharged from the filter cloth to a conveyor to next process step.

 

Step 6: The filtrate and air in the vacuum box flow through filtrate pipe and a gas-water separator.
